What we collect
If you use our contact form, we collect what you enter: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, the role you choose, roughly how many stones you have, what you're contacting us about, and your message. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you send. This site doesn't use analytics, advertising trackers or cookies of its own.
At an intake
If you have an intake with us, we also record your name, contact details, and your stone's photos and details in its private Agate Registry record, along with the shipping address for your completed set, and use them to deliver your grade, card and stand.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to you, to arrange intakes, and to keep you updated about LakeStone Labs. We don't sell or rent it.
Specimen records
When we grade a stone, its Agate Registry record (photos, measurements, weight, grade and details) is private by default. We only show a customer's stone, grade, name, photos or story publicly with their separate permission.
Who else handles it
Form submissions are processed by Formspree, which keeps a copy in our Formspree account and emails it to us. The site is hosted by Porkbun, and our fonts are served by Google Fonts. Like any website, these providers receive your IP address and basic browser information when you load a page or send the form. We don't use that information ourselves. Our email, including the form submissions Formspree forwards to us, is handled by Google (Gmail). Completed sets are shipped by a shipping carrier, which receives your name and shipping address.
Your choices
To stop hearing from us or to have your information deleted, reply to any email we send you, email us at lakestonelabs@gmail.com, or use our privacy request form. We'll delete your information and confirm by email.
Do Not Track
This site doesn't track you across other sites, so it doesn't respond differently to Do Not Track signals.
Changes
If we change this notice, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
