LakeStone Labs is a patent-pending project focused on Lake Superior agates. We want to make it easier for collectors and vendors to better understand quality, rarity, and pricing, and we’re working with people in the community to help shape it early.

Why it matters

Lake Superior agates have long been valued through experience, personal opinion, and community knowledge — but collectors and vendors still lack a consistent way to support pricing, document rarity, and preserve what makes a specimen special.

Our goal is to help bring more consistency to the hobby while giving collectors and vendors a better way to recognize quality, support pricing, and highlight the rarity of exceptional agates. Just as importantly, we want to help strengthen the community around the stones people care most about.
